Devon Rose, 30, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, but for the incident that took place in July at a Westport medical facility, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana.
During the July incident officers were dispatched to a Westport medical facility on a report of indecent exposure. Upon arrival, officers learned Rose had exposed himself to the victim and began masturbating while sitting across from her in a common area, Cabana said.
An arrest warrant application was submitted by the investigating officer and later approved, but Westport police had a hard time finding him.
Fast forward to Dec. 31, when Trumbull Police notified Westport that Rose was being detained on the outstanding warrant. He was transported to Westport Police Headquarters where he was charged with public disturbance and public indecency.Rose was released after posting $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on Jan. 10.
